Music, Kristal and Computer People.

I am currently working on putting together a little cd. Nothing fancy, just a few songs to amuse my friends. A couple A Capella harmonies, a couple songs with guitar, and a couple songs I wrote myself. It's a lovely way to spend my time and I never get tired of music. I just don't. Playing, singing, arranging and composing is a source of endless enjoyment for me.

I am far too poor to fork over cash for a really fantastic mixing program. (Though if anyone wants to buy me a Macbook and Garage Band, I'm SO up for it...) So what I did, is I downloaded Kristal. Kristal was some guy's senior project and after he was done with it he posted it online so poor college students like me could have it for free. Whoever you were, Mr. Kristal, I salute you. I love the program. I'm sure there are things I can't do on it, but I haven't come across any yet.

Computer people who share their talents for free are princes among men. I'm afraid I <3 Nerds. They make my life so much better.

  1. Kristal is a very nice program. Audacity is another fine free piece of audio software. Best of luck with your CD.

Muse with me. Please?
