I picked this up from Liz Sara over at If Music Be, Then I Am. I posted a comment on her blog and she assigned me a letter. Mine happened to be 'H' so now I am going to write about 10 things that begin with the letter 'H'.
#1. Headaches. I would normally never think of this as being the #1. 'H' word. But I happened to have this wicked sinus headache this week that I feel like complaining about. If you've never had the pleasure of one of those headaches that makes your teeth and eyes and ears hurt, you know what I mean. If you haven't, you are missing a vital part of the human experience, my dear.
#2. Homemade eggnog. I made some of this delicious stuff last night and BOY was it amazing. I always shied away from making it before because the idea of eating raw eggs made me queasy. But it turned out not to be a problem at all. In fact... I'm contemplating serving it to unsuspecting guests... mwahahahahaha!
#3. Hallmark. I hate it. Call me anti-sappy; it must be so. What a bunch of shallowness. End very short rant.
#4. Hangovers. I've never actually had one. But I am pretty dang sure I hate them.
#5. Hospitals. My recent visits have not changed my mind, but rather confirmed my suspicions that I loathe them. Also on the hate list, pushy doctors who think they know everything...
#6. Hard. This thing is difficult! Four more H words to go... can I make it? I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!
#7. Happiness. It's a thing I'm not sure I will/can ever really understand. Not ever sure what does and does not make me happy. But I'm happy right now.
#8. Homework. It's not for lazy people such as myself. That's for sure. I don't like it when home and work mix. I like to leave the separate.
#9. Hair. I have decided that God designed my life to be a perpetual bad hair day. So I'm cool with that. If any of you have a problem with that, you know who to talk to.
#10. Hadron collider. I have nothing to say on this subject. But in case any of you do, feel free to share.
So, if you leave a comment, request a letter and I will assign you one. You then get to repeat the process on your own blog.
