Busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy bee!

I've hinted here and there that Silas and I have been really, really busy lately. Several of the events from the past month need their own blog posts to explain. But I haven't been allowed to tell you the main thing that's been keeping me so busy, as much of it has been up in the air. I am now, however, free to tell you; we're moving!

The original plan was to move the month after the baby was born. Then we decided we didn't want to move with a newborn in tow and decided to try and find a new place in time to move at the beginning of August. If you look at your calendar you will see that it's still June... What happened was this: We started looking for homes and God dropped an amazing house with amazing rent (and a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and garden patch) in our lap. So we took it. And we're moving on Saturday.

While I'm extremely excited about the house, I'm a bit stressed about about getting everything packed up by the end of the week. (Pregnancy hormones are NOT helping. I've been feeling anxious about everything lately.) Right now the only thing I have packed is my pre-pregnancy clothes... and not even all of them. Thankfully, we haven't collected much furniture yet, so that's not a lot to move. This is a very good thing since our church's new assistant pastor and his family are moving to Pittsburgh this weekend also, so I don't foresee very much help being available.

Be anxious for nothing, but by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving make your requests made known unto God.

I have loads of pictures and funny stories to relate to you from the past couple weeks. The posts have been created and are patiently waiting to for me to finish them so they can leave the world of draft and be transferred to published. Those poor little neglected blog posts! Soon they shall see the light of day, so don't stay away too long, you lovely readers, you.*

*I do NOT make a habit out of apologizing for not posting here, but even Silas, who blogs about 4 times a year, has been telling me I need to blog more...

  1. Congratulations on your move! It's definitely easier without an infant. We moved when my son was about a month old and nursing ever 2 hours. it was NOT fun.
