The internet in my pocket.

That is what Silas calls his smart phone. And I had always allowed this to be true. Until today.

Now don't get me wrong. I love my little android phone as much as the next technology dependent housewife. In fact, I may or may not have cried a little bit when, while running errands yesterday, I got a message on my phone letting me know I could now download the new FroYo operating system. (It's awesome, by the way.)

But today my phone failed me. Today I discovered I cannot blog from my phone.

Ok, ok, I do have a computer. In fact, between Silas and I we have more computers than we probably need. It's not like I make a habit of blogging from my phone. I mean, it takes me forever to type anything on my phone, anyway, and I like previewing my blog posts on an actual computer screen before their posted. (Though, that didn't seem to keep me from publishing a horrific typo in yesterday's post.)

But today I was traveling. Silas, Gideon and I are spending this week in Iowa visiting my extended family for Thanksgiving. I was in the car for upwards of 12 hours and I wanted to blog. That's it. I just wanted to blog. And I couldn't. And you know what? THAT BOTHERS ME.

And now my post is later than I'd like. Because of my phone. And the stupid fake text entry thingy on blogger.*

That is all.

*Dear Silas, please forgive me for have used the phrase "fake text entry thingy". But I really didn't understand your explanation in the car.
