My eyes may be dying but my ears are in heaven.

I haven't been blogging due to the fact that my eyes have recently decided to turn into great balls of fire whenever I look at a computer screen. I went to the eye doctor and she told me that my eyes are really healthy, my vision is too good for glasses, and there doesn't appear to be a reason for my reaction to looking at my computer and phone other than my eyes seem to be surprisingly sensitive to light. Again, no reason for this as my eyes are so healthy.

Needless to say I'm pretty frustrated. She gave me eye drops to use for three weeks then we can start talking about possible alternative therapy. Or something. She made some suggestions but I haven't gotten that far in my thinking yet.

So while I chew on my options I offer this, a music video. Chris Thile, better known for his involvement with Nickel Creek, was one of my favorite musicians when I was growing up. I'm so happy he's still making great music. This is a cover of one of my favorite songs, Reptila, performed by Chris and his band, The Punch Brothers.

  1. Have you tried lowering the brightness or adjusting the screen "warmth?" I use f.lux to regulate it on my system, has helped quite a bit with evening PC usage.

  2. When I first got my laptop, I had issues with my eyes as well. I can't remember why it stopped but it may have had something to do with adjusting the room brightness or the screen...

    Good luck!

Muse with me. Please?
