He's not a tame lion.

I need some simple, child-like faith in my life.

I started feeling like this a few days before the election.  Half the people I know, both liberal and conservative, are talking about issues like they're simply black and white. That there's only one possible solution to any given problem. I don't feel that way and just thinking about politics right now makes me feel tired.

It's not that I don't like a complex and well reasoned opinion on an issue. It's that it makes me sad that things ARE so complex. It's that facebook and twitter are not the proper platform for these kinds of arguments. It's that it's ridiculous to assume that anyone who disagrees with you is an idiot. It's that while I'm glad that election season is over I know it will come again soon. It's that there's nothing new under the sun.
Enter The Chronicles of Narnia. Child-like faith squished between two covers.
I've read these books over and over again through the years but not recently. I'm pretty ready for a good dose about now.
"Every year your grow you will find me bigger" so says Aslan, and I'm looking forward to finding him bigger on this reading.
