FAQ

How did you and Silas meet?
Silas and I met in the Spring of 2007 when our family moved from Kentucky to Oregon. Our family started attending Christ the King church. Silas's family was also attending. My first memory of Silas was looking over at the Snider family and wondering who the big bearded man wearing Birkenstocks was. Turns out it was their oldest son who was a student at the University of Oregon at the time.
Me and my sweetheart, Silas.

You come from a ginormous family, right? How many siblings do you have again?
I have four brothers, two sisters, five brothers-in-law, and four sisters-in-law. All together that makes fifteen :)

Silas and I with his family on our wedding day.

Are you a hippie?
If believing in homebirth, alternative medicine, recycling, baby wearing, clothing diapering,  and eating wholesome foods makes me a hippie, then yes.
Ah, the bandana. Provoker of many stereotypes.

What's your political position?
I would describe myself as a conservative leaning Libertarian. But my politics are all over the board. However, due to the amount of stress politics brings to my life, I'm much less involved in politics now than I was in my teen years.
Haha, dorky me. See, I have no shame.

Do you make money off of Mildly Amusing Musings?
No. I posted ads on my blog for the first time in 2009 via Google AdSense. I left them up for several months but I hated the way they looked on my blog. Basically, they were ugly and annoying. My goal for this blog is not to make money but to document life.
